Every Sunday afternoon our Pastor Chris and the New Roots team heads into Palolo valley for ministry. New Roots is a ministry of Waialae Baptist Church that seeks to meet the educational, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of the children and their families living in Palolo Valley Housing. New Roots intends to partner with local churches, schools, and other community organizations to provide after school programs, adult education programs, family related services, counseling, physical needs (food, clothing, school supplies, etc.), and Christian education. New Roots also focuses on the empowerment of those living in Palolo Valley Homes by training local youth to become leaders of positive transformation within their families and community.
